Ryvr Tech Ltd is an independent technical consultancy founded by Herve Jourdain, based in Linkou, Taiwan. The company specialises in the RDK (Reference Design Kit) ecosystem and embedded Linux platforms for consumer electronics — Smart TVs, Set-Top Boxes, and connected IoT devices.
The company was established to bring genuine senior-level engineering expertise directly to manufacturers, platform vendors and system integrators navigating the complex RDK landscape — from initial architecture through to production security hardening.
Operating as a boutique consultancy, Ryvr Tech focuses on depth over breadth: rigorous technical delivery, pragmatic engineering judgment, and the ability to bridge between engineering teams across Asia and the West. With over 25 years of experience in embedded systems, real-time, network, telecom and TV/STB development, Herve brings genuine authority to every engagement.
