Ryvr Tech actively contributes to the open-source ecosystem — releasing tools and platform work that come out of real production and certification engagements. All projects below are open source and hosted on GitHub.
FinLightning
A Jellyfin media server client written in Lightning 3 (Blits) — the current RDK-V UI stack. The same UI code runs unmodified on both RDK-V set-top boxes and Samsung Tizen Smart TVs, sharing a single codebase across two very different platform stacks.
- Lightning 3 (Blits) — current RDK UI framework
- Playback via AAMP on RDK-V, AVPlay on Tizen
- Supports pre-packaged HLS, 4K, HDR, Dolby DD+ and Dolby DD
- Demonstrates cross-platform Lightning 3 development in practice

DABScope
A native Flutter desktop application for testing and certifying devices that implement the Device Automation Bus (DAB) 2.1 specification. Connects directly to the device MQTT 5 broker — no browser, no server, no Python required.
- Discover: connect to the broker and find adapters
- Commands: all 25 DAB 2.1 operations
- Certify: conformance, functional, and negative test suites
- Runs on Windows and Linux

StreamPack
A native Flutter desktop application that drives ffmpeg and ffprobe directly to encode HLS and DASH streams and validate manifests — for media engineers who need a fast, reliable encoding and validation workflow without a browser or server dependency.
- HLS and DASH — one or both in a single pass
- SDR and HDR — H.264 / H.265 with HDR and SDR ladder
- Renditions from 240p to 4K, EU and US SD, downscale-only
- Multi-audio: per-codec AAC / AC-3 / E-AC-3 groups
- Job queue with live progress, ETA, and cancel
- Manifest validator for .m3u8 and .mpd, rendition-aware
- NVIDIA GPU acceleration on Windows
- Available in English, German, Swedish, and French
